How to Make Grape Juice

It is not the most exciting of tasks to squeeze and strain grapes for grape juice. I don’t like it and chances are you do not either. I was so ecstatic when someone informed me of a quicker and easier method to get the job done. You’re going to love this simple method.

Wine Making Guide

Begin by washing and completely sterilizing all of your canned jars, rings, and lids. Then you will want to fill your pot midway with water for it to reach the boiling point. Simultaneously, fill another pot with water to also boil. The second pot of water will be added to the jars.

The idea of canning grape juice is very exciting to me. I have been canning for years and am always looking for new items to add to my pantry. I have a few questions about your instructions though.
    1. In step four we are to add one cup of sugar for each cup of concentrate. So, if we use six pounds of grapes and get six cups of concentrated grape juice we should add six cups of sugar. Correct?
    2. Step five days to measure one cup grapes and one cup sugar for each quart jar. Is that the pure grape concentrate or the already sugared concentrate from step four? And what else goes into the jar? A quart is four cups.
    3. In step eight we are to add the canned concentrate to water. What size pitcher are you using? In other words, how much water do you add to a quart of concentrate?

Thanks for the idea. I enjoy your website.
