My Homesteading Journey
I’ve been running my very own self-sufficient backyard homestead for over ten years now. I didn’t grow up on a giant farm, and I don’t live out in the deep country. Instead, I turned a standard neighborhood lot into a high-yield home. Today, I grow tons of food, bake sourdough from scratch, and feed my soil with kitchen scraps.
Of course, I am also a big stickler for safety! As a certified food preservation expert, I love teaching families how to safely pressure can and water-bath their harvests without any worry. All these experiences taught me that true security doesn’t come from a bunker. Instead, it comes from a well-stocked pantry, healthy soil, and knowing how to use your hands. Now here I am sharing my passion with you.
