The Surprising Benefits Of A Clean Home
by Lisa Loukidis – Wizard Cleaning
We all have a pretty good understanding of the practical health benefits of a clean home, but have you ever given much thought to the psychological kick that a serene and a clean environment can give you?
What about the other mental health advantages that working up a sweat cleaning your house can give you? Let's have a look at why you may feel when your home is sparking clean and tidy:
The Surprising Benefits Of A Clean Home
1. Get yourself moving
It's a proven fact that exercise improves mental health and is recommended for people that are suffering from conditions like depression. Moving helps you release endorphins that make you feel great. Have a dance while you clean and feel the smile creep across your face as you imagine performing on stage whilst mopping the floor.
2. Tame the rage
Feeling stressed or angry? Use the pent up emotion to clean stubborn stains on your bathroom grout. Once you are finished you have a clean bathroom and you are too tired to be angry anymore and you can think more calmly about what was upsetting you in the first place.

3. Invite folks over
When your house is messy or the dirt is out of control how often do you invite friends or family over just to spend time? Odds are never. If your home is clean and tidy you are more likely to invite people over the visit, even just for a coffee, to chat about what's going on in your lives.
4. An invitation to relax
It's hard to relax in a messy house. As soon as you get home you feel that you need to be doing something to clean up. If you keep your home neat and clean you can relax when you get home from work, put your feet up and unwind.
5. You feel like you can breathe
Mess and dirt are overwhelming psychologically. It's hard to focus on anything when your immediate environment is uncomfortable and it can reduce you to sitting in front of the TV because it is too much to deal with. You can ignore it while it gets worse or work away to it so that when your home is clean, you feel that you can breathe and be productive again.

THIS SITE IS TOO CLUTTERED. Geesh, I can’t stand to read the articles for all the JUNK on the page. Come on, clean this up!! I’m submitting what it is like for a reader to try to read your page. It’s just really too bad because you have good things to say, but I’m not going to hang through all this clutter to see it. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d19e29c34f9a8692abf224c777ece985e20ec1bd0f8b407e3650b4bddd81be3d.jpg
