How to Make Perfume In 7 Different Ways

1. Vanilla and Lavender Perfume Recipe

1. Firstly, use the knife to slice the vanilla beans open.
2. Next, place the sliced vanilla beans and lavender flowers in your glass jar.
3. Thirdly, pour your vodka into the glass jar and screw on the lid.
4. Now allow the mixture to infuse for at least seven days.
5. After seven days, strain the mixture and discard the flowers and the vanilla beans.
6. Here, add vanilla extract, glycerin, and lavender essential oil to the strained liquid and stir.
7. Lastly, allow the perfume to age for up to six weeks before straining and transferring into a spray bottle.

2. Grapefruit and Peppermint Perfume Recipe

  • A small glass container
  • Dropper
  • Dark glass container to store
  • Glass perfume spray bottle

Instructions

1. First, add the tablespoon of jojoba oil to your glass container, and then add the alcohol.
2. Now, to the same container, add the essential oils in the order of 10 drops of grapefruit for the base note, 10 drops of sweet orange and 5 drops of peppermint for the middle note, and lastly, 5 drops of chamomile/lavender blend for the top note.
3. Next, add distilled water using a dropper.
4. Now, mix the contents well and transfer them into the dark glass container, where you will store the mixture for anywhere between two days to six weeks.
5. Finally, transfer the perfume to a glass spray bottle of your choice once it acquires your desired scent.

3. Vanilla Perfume Recipe

  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons organic sunflower oil
  • 40 drops of bergamot essential oil
  • Anise and Cedarwood essential oil

  • Chopping board
  • Glass bottle
  • Dropper
  • Spray bottle

Instructions

1. Begin by slicing the vanilla bean open, scrape off the seeds, and crush them up into tiny pieces on a chopping board.
2. Next, place the crushed vanilla bean seeds in a glass bottle and then add four tablespoons of organic sunflower oil.
3. Tightly screw on your bottle cork and let the mixture sit in a cool and dark place for two weeks. Give the bottle a gentle shake once every three to four days for two weeks.
4. Once the two weeks lapse, add bergamot, anise, and Cedarwood essential oils into a glass spray bottle.
5. Using a dropper, add the vanilla-infused oil without the seeds to the mixture of the essential oils in the glass spray bottle and gently shake to blends the oils.

4. Rose Perfume Recipe

Things You’ll Need

  • 3/4 cup fresh rose petals
  • 1/2 cup alcohol (vodka)
  • 2 1/2 cups distilled water
  • 2-3 drops rose essential oil

  • Big glass jar with a lid
  • Spoon or mortar
  • Strainer
  • Perfume bottle

Instructions

1. After cleaning your rose petals to remove dust, align them at the bottom of your glass jar and pour your vodka over them.
2. Next, place the lid and let the petal and vodka mixture sit for a day in a dark place.
3. After a day, squish the petals using a spoon or mortar, add the distilled water, and then add the essential oil drops into the jar.
4. Now, place the lid again and leave this to sit for at least seven days, ensuring you mix it up once each day.
5. Once the concoction has aged for a week, strain it into a perfume bottle, and it’s ready to spray!

5. Jasmine Perfume Recipe

Things You’ll Need

  • 2 tablespoons pure grain vodka
  • 5 drops lavender oil, 30 drops of jasmine oil, and 5 drops of vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water or distilled water

  • Glass bottle
  • Cheesecloth

Instructions

1. In a small glass bottle, combine your essential oil blend with the vodka and leave it to sit for at least two days.
2. After two weeks, add a tablespoon of orange blossom water or distilled water to the mixture and give it a gentle shake. Leave for about four weeks in a dark spot.
3. If there is any sediment in the mixture after the four weeks, use a cheesecloth to strain it before pouring the perfume into a spray bottle.

6. Rosemary Perfume Recipe

  • 13 drops rosemary oil
  • 13 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 5 drops sage essential oil
  • 5 drops lemon essential oil
  • 3 tablespoons vodka
  • 2 cups distilled water

1. Firstly, add your pure grain alcohol in a glass bottle, then mix in all your essential oils. Give the mixture a gentle shake and allow the bottle to sit for around two days.
2. Next, add in the distilled water as you slowly mix until it is uniformly incorporated, then leave the perfume to sit for up to three weeks in a cool, dark place.
3. Once the perfume matures, strain any residue using a cheesecloth and store it in a fancy glass spray bottle.

7. Citrus Perfume Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon jojoba oil
  • 2 tablespoons of vodka
