When hosting a Thanksgiving party, last-minute errands have a way of shifting up on you and truly eating your precious time. This is the reason it's so useful to get as much as you can do ahead of time – beginning with these 10 sanity-saving things you can do right now.

Sanity-Saving Thanksgiving Tips

I won’t deny it, Thanksgiving hasn’t always been smooth sailing for me. Relatives coming over, decorations that need to be made and of course, the food that needs cooking. I remember last year when I barely made it out in one piece. But no more! This year, I’ve planned my Thanksgiving dinner well. And to help me get through this holiday as a sane person, I also compiled some Thanksgiving tips I’m sharing with all of you. You can thank me later!

 

1. Plan Ahead

You know when Thanksgiving falls each year so why not give 6 weeks to plan everything: menu, decorations, table settings, etc. Better ready than sorry! Here’s a planning checklist that can help.

2. Do The Little Things In Advance

Start working on the little things 2-3 weeks in advance and I’m sure you can’t go wrong.
