OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY
This couple was sick and tired of city life, and decided to go back to ye old ways by living off the grid on their very own homestead. This homestead is 100% self-sufficient. They built it from the ground up, they have no plumbing and no power. They survive using natural resources: Water, natural sunlight, and fire from candles and wood. Their food comes from their backyard, and their medicine comes from herbs. Take a tour of their homestead here!

Love the Airedale. We had one in 90’s. More recently had a Lakeland (smaller version). shortly will be moving to a shack totally off grid where 90% is under environment conservation order. Still will have 20 acres to farm. Going to install full solar, grey water and at least 20,000 litre water tanks. Already has a small dam and bore. Will not keep any domestic animals though due to the unique native biodiversity there. Looking forward to it and setting up cameras to capture unique wildlife including koalas, quolls, brush tailed wallabies, sugar gliders, large goannas etc. Wild, rugged country but only 30 km from a big country town.

Love these guys. But how do they do the videos and how do the edit? It takes lots of time. Need electricity and internet. How is that taking place if it’s off grid full time. Especially the Internet?
