How To Make the Tastiest Pumpkin Spice Latte out of Fresh Pumpkins
Fall always gives me the excuse to sip on something sinfully delicious… A Pumpkin Spice Latte! I'd have to say I have been guilty spending 5 bucks for an order, and boy is it killing my budget. So to try something new this fall, and to put my pumpkin patch into good use, I've decided that I'll be making homemade pumpkin spice lattes! If you also have some pumpkins lying around, make a puree and start sipping this tasty fall treat. …Or you can just buy the puree in a can. 😉

Pumpkin Spice Latte Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (click here to see how to make yours from scratch)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon white sugar, or to taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 10 fluid ounces hot strongly brewed coffee
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream, or more to taste (optional)
Materials:
- sauce pan
- whisk
- measuring cup
- mug
- french press
Step 1
Using your saucepan, whisk your unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk in medium heat then add the pumpkin puree.
Mix well!
Step 2
Add vanilla extract, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and pepper.
Step 3
Put to a boil with constant stirring.
Once it has boiled, remove from the fire and whisk until it's smooth. Give it about a minute of mixing.
Step 4
Transfer to your desired mug.
Note: This recipe is good for two servings.Â
Step 5
Add about 5 oz. of  brewed coffee.
Step 6
Mix and top with whipped cream.
Garnish with pumpkin spice and cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
