How to Clean Silver At Home
Do you have silver jewelry that is so ugly that you're embarrassed to wear it? Do you have a silver spoon that is so dark you are scared to use it? Well, I do! So, today, I'm going to show you how to clean silver!
What you'll need to clean silver:
- dirty silver
- bowl
- aluminum foil
- baking soda
- tongs/fork
Step 1
First you will need a bowl and aluminum foil. Cover the bowl with the aluminum foil make sure that the shiny side is up. If it isn't then your silver won't be cleaned.
Step 2
Add boiling water into the bowl with the aluminum foil.
Step 3
Add about 2 teaspoon of baking soda. Then add your silver items into the water and wait at least 5 minutes.
Step 4
Take the silver out of the water with kitchen tongs or just a fork. And start wiping.
There you have it! A fast and easy way to clean your beautiful silver!
TIP: If you want your silver to stay shiny and clean, place your silver items into a Ziploc bag, and let the air out!
