Amazingly, sugar, which is a common household ingredient, has skin smoothing properties with proper application. Along with essential oils from coconut and olive, you’ll create a skin care product which not only cleanses but keeps the skin moisturized. Check out this natural sugar scrub recipe and find it out for yourself.

Supplies:

What You Will Need | Homemade Sugar Scrub Recipe [Just Mix Raw Sugar And Coconut Oil]

  • 1 cup raw or brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup organic virgin coconut oil (almond oil will work too, but it will not have the delicious coconut smell)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • Mason jar

How To Make DIY Sugar Scrub

Step 1. Mix Ingredients

Pour all ingredients into a mixing bowl. If your coconut oil is stiff, you can preheat the oil in the oven first. You can also heat the sugar with your oil to make it less coarse and easy on the skin.

Step 2. Stir Mixture
