Were you able to catch the blood moon on Sunday night?
This past September 27, 2015, the Moon and the Sun aligned with Earth at their center, and a lunar eclipse of great significance caused the moon to glow red. This Supermoon occurred naturally for the first time since 1982.
Rare supermoon eclipse seen around the world
Stargazers were treated to a rare astronomical phenomenon when a total lunar eclipse combined with a so-called supermoon. Those in the United States, Europe, Africa and western Asia were able to view the coupling, weather permitting, Sunday night or early Monday.
As a Moon Lore states, The Blood Moon, whether also paired with a super moon eclipse or not, is a time of year every October that represents change. “This is a compelling time to build, to begin, to create, to start something and flow into a new way of being, also a time to shed old useless habits.” Source.
What a perfect time to reflect and think: What will you be changing? How will you be growing? What habits will you be shedding?
This could be looked at from the perspective of your lifestyle and behavior, as well as what you're doing around the homestead in terms of harvesting your own food, cleaning out the old barn, etc.
