Forrest Fenn’s intent was also to get people up off the couch and outside, and considering how hundreds of thousands have now sought out after the treasure, and there are now blogs and books dedicated to the search, Fenn has done an impeccable job. This day is in honor of Forrest Fenn, and how his story has significantly impacted the Santa Fe community due to boosts in tourism, and from the sales of his books which he gives back to the local community and charities.
