knowing what the plant looks like is the survival not going be having a guide walking around you saying that a such and such plant eat or not…lol
The berries you are showing are NOT Elderberries !!! The plant you display here is ‘Pokeweed’. American Indians used it to induce abortions when the pregnancy endangered the mother & child. Most commonly during seasonal tribal migrations. In heavy doses it is quite toxic, but taken wisely it won’t kill you. Sorry about that. Elderberries don’t even look like that. The brilliant magenta stems should have been the first clue.
