Set your New Year diet on the right track with these easy sugar free recipes. If cutting out sugar is part of your resolutions, let me help you out!

Sugar Free Recipes To Start The New Year Healthy

Happy New Year! How was your holiday? I’m sure it was a blast, with all the gatherings and festivities. I must say, I can’t count how many parties I’ve attended from Christmas up to the New Year. And with all the celebrating, came a lot of sugar-loaded food. It’s a guilty pleasure! So if you’re like me, trying to shake off sugar (even for the meantime), then these recipe ideas are perfect for you!

1. Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie

It’s not cheating if it’s healthy, right? These cookies are gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. So, there are no worries when giving in to the temptations of this healthy chocolate chip cookie.

2. Blender Whole Wheat Waffles

This breakfast recipe is so easy, you just have to put everything into a blender, then off to your waffle maker, and done! It’s even light and fluffy. Good news – you can make a large batch because any leftovers are freezable for up to a month.

3. Peanut Butter Granola

Don’t get intimidated with this granola recipe because there’s really nothing to it. It’s inexpensive and a great way to jump start your day.

4. Pomegranate Granola Parfaits

In case you don’t feel like eating peanut butter granola to start your day, why not try these pomegranate granola parfaits instead. They’re delicious and naturally sweet, easy to prepare, and perfect on-the-go. So, there’s no reason for you to skip a healthy breakfast.

5. Lasagna In A Bowl

A simple comfort food that’s not only low-carb and sugar-free, but also gluten-, egg- and nut-free, too. This is my new favorite. I’m sure once you try this, it will be yours, too.

6. Baked Sweet Potato Fries

As side dish or a snack, enjoy these baked sweet potato fries any which way you want. You know, I have a thing for sweet potato and I definitely need to give this recipe a go to satisfy my fry cravings this colder season.

7. Fried Breaded Zucchini

Trust me, you will have no worries in preparing this fried breaded zucchini because it’s a super easy side dish that takes no time to put together. Transform your fresh zucchini into the best appetizer using flax meal for a crispy coating, and season it with salt and pepper.

8. Healthy Sweet And Sour Chicken

Get tons of flavor even with deep frying your chicken in this healthy sweet and sour chicken recipe. The secret: use low-carb cornstarch to coat your chicken. Say goodbye to the sweet and sour chicken from the restaurant and welcome this easy and healthier version you can easily prepare at home in just 30 minutes.

9. “No Work” Baked Chicken

Who has time to prepare dinner when you still have a holiday hangover? You can with this simple and healthy baked chicken recipe. It only takes about 10 minutes of prep work, then have your oven do the rest.

10. Low Fat And Gluten Free Apple Bread

Who needs sugar when you can have the natural sweetness of an apple? This healthy recipe is a must-try because it has been perfected by its maker, with unlimited options to make it even more flavorful.

11. No Bake Banana Bread Bars

Making bread without baking? Sign me up! Who could say no to these healthy no-bake banana bread protein bars? I’m sure every vegan, Paleo, and gluten-free lifestyle fan will give everything to have a bite!

12. Gingerbread Cake Donuts With Cranberry Glaze

Who says gingerbread is only good for the holidays? Enjoy it year round in this guilt-free — vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free– gingerbread cake donuts with cranberry glaze recipe. That’s a mouthful!

13. Healthy Sugar Free Rocky Road

No marshmallows, no problem! This healthy sugar free rocky road still tastes incredible because it comes from tested Paleo and dairy free options – vegan and naturally gluten free. And wait, this only takes less than 5 minutes to whip up!

14. Homemade Marshmallows

Do you feel like your rocky road is incomplete without marshmallows? Well, try this simple homemade version. Remarkably delectable, but also sugar-free!

15. No Bake Banana Cream Cheesecake

I will never pass up on a good cheesecake! Gather your favorite ingredients and make your own jars of delight! I would suggest using a sugar-free cool whip cream for a healthier take. The preparation is basically combining the ingredients, layering, and waiting while your refrigerator does its job. Easy-peasy yet yummy-licious.

16. Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

Craving for some ice cream? But worries about ice cream’s sugar content. Here’s a healthier take, 3-ingredient homemade strawberry ice cream. No artificial flavoring, just pure strawberry goodness that’s ready in 2 minutes. For sure the kids and big kids will be delighted.

17. Persimmon Cardamom Shake
