5 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Dandruff
Once you get dandruff it's very difficult to treat. So you'll probably consider anti-dandruff shampoo, but trust me… DON'T DO IT!
I'm warning all of you people out there: when you decide to stop using anti-dandruff shampoo, the dandruff will appear again, and become even worse than before. But don't worry, Homesteading knows the ultimate solution!
Lemon Juice
Use a citrus juicer to extract about 1/4 of a cup of lemon juice from a couple of lemons. Before taking a shower, pour all the juice onto your hair, and massage into your scalp. Let it sit there for no less than 2 minutes, then wash out. Do this 3 times each week.
Chamomile Tea
Brew a cup of organic chamomile tea, wait until it cools down a bit, and apply to scalp. Then wash out, and repeat at least 3 times each week.
Vinegar
Mixing apple cider with normal vinegar, and massaging into your dry scalp should get rid of dandruff as long as you re-apply at least twice a week.
Olive Oil
Apply high-quality olive oil onto your scalp, then wrap a towel around your head, and leave it on for at least 2 hours. Do this twice each week.
Honey Shampoo
Go to the local store or pharmacy and find a bottle of a shampoo containing real honey, but make sure it has no chemicals. Use the shampoo every day until your dandruff disappears.
