Homemade Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 (14 ounce) cans green beans
- 4 strips bacon
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup French’s French Fried Onions
Step 1. Create your cream sauce.
Saute your dice bacon until crisp then remove. Create a rue on the same pan by whisking the flour over medium heat for at least a minute. Then add milk, sour cream and crisp bacon. Time to remove from heat when the mixture has turned to a gravy consistency.
Step 2. Coat the Green Beans.
Time to coat your green beans by adding the bacon mixture.
Step 3. Cheese it up!
Now! Here’s the twist! Spread your green bean mixture in a baking dish then top it with shredded cheese and onions then bake it for 20 minutes.
Step 4. Serve and Enjoy!
