So I didn’t know quite what to do when I first pulled up, but I went over to the boat office and asked them for the shower because I didn’t know it was free or if there was a fee. And they gave me and my friend a shower for free unlock the door for us the bathroom as well. The staff was super sweet.

I live close by and enjoy coming here to unwind. Its clean and even when busy, generally quiet. Upstate Kayak Co rents from this location so if you want to get out on the water with the ducks and geese you can. (You can see in one of my posted photos a boat entering the lock area from the Hudson R
