A chilly winter day and enjoyed hiking around the lake, seeing plenty of dogs and friendly owners, plus diving ducks and mallards. A splash of rain, a gust of wind, clouds and blue sky taking turns. What a lovely and refreshing outing in this well-marked, well-maintained historical spot.

This is such a nice place for a hike, everybody seems to come here. Today a lot of people are taking graduation photos, and its a great area for them. Its mostly accessible to everyone, but after the rains, we just had some of the trails and access points are really muddy. And the bridge was slipp
