I was there as a solo traveler to enjoy the vendors & hot air balloons at Labor Day liftoff! I met Charlie the cat as a pleasant surprise & so many well behaved dogs!

Great set up for the balloon launch! Parking was a bit dicey but so happy to see golf cart rides to the grounds. Plenty if space to roam around. Unfortunately the launch was canceled due to weather, however tgey did an excellent job getting everyone to safety.

A beautiful park with the view of pikes peak and a large lake with fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Attended the firefighter memorial and then visited the park after. A great place to exercise.

The space is generally well kept and there are plenty of community events that take place around the park. Its great for picnics, casual walks or more serious exercise. And, occasionally, youll see an eagle.
