Special event day - Watermelon Festival. Lots of booths, good selection of veggies, local honey, drinks, snacks, etc. Food trucks. Kid and dog friendly. Always nice to spend some time at Floyd Lamb park.

The Las Vegas Farmers market is about one mile south of our home. It is conveniently located to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. You need to go very early for the best choices. There is usually a long line of cars going north on Durango and turning east on Brent road in bumper to bumper traffic goi
