First time visiting the historic Greenbelt area and it feels like we were brought back in time. The farmers market is a cute spot and we tried the iced Dirty Chai latte from the Indonesian food stand. It was delicious and different than Indian chai lattes. It has a gingery cinnamon-y taste. The best way to spend an hour or two on Sunday! They have about 20 vendors, all of them local, and a really good mixture of vegetables and prepared foods. If you have government food benefits they can also DOUBLE it up to a certain amount!
On site local farm meat, local mushroom vendor, fantastic crepe, burrito, quesadilla and other food vendor, local coffee beans and grounds, local farm vegetables, and local apple vendor. There are other fantastic things but these are m6 weekly highlights
The number of vendors felt like it was down but its always good going to one of my favorite farmers markets for produce, bread, and some tasty treats
