So excited Elmhurst has an organic produce vendor,Banford Road Farm, his stuff sells out quick, so go early for before nine if possible. His stuff is so fresh and I know he takes care of the soil also for nutrients.
Great farmers market, lots of parking, good mix of vendors. Fresh coffee, handmade candles, popcorn, several produce vendors. Vendors are all very friendly and have a good selection of products.
You have to try Hash It Out. They aren’t there every Sunday but I’ve never seen anything like it at a farmer’s market. It’s an all organic breakfast hash/skillet meal. So yummy!
Great selection, super easy on off access from Roosevelt Rd via York Rd. The pickled mushrooms that the mushroom guy there sells are incredible, worth the trip just for those.
