What a wonderful experience today. Tons of vendors from flowers to bakery goods to German Brat’s to soap’s. Also multiple live music musicians on multiple street corners. So much stuff.
Top 2 things to do on a summer Saturday in Des Moines ! Lots of diversity in food, local products and music. Make sure you get a good breakfast sandwich. I took it to go for lunch and go early before it gets too crowded. Visiting from MA sorry I’m missing the state fair.
Spectacular farmers market with a wide variety of produce, baked goods, cheeses, some meat vendors, wares, flowers and more. Loved the food trucks and ready to eat vendors such as the egg roll carts, pretzels, and all the samples !! Super easy parking, we chose a private garage but loads of free spa
We’re traveling from Ohio and happened to be in town for today’s market. We had a wonderful time and spent hours visiting the booths. My husband and my puppy rated it a 5 out of 5. 😃
