The Aiken County Farmers Market, which is operated by the City of Aiken, is a year-round market hosting anywhere from 25 to 60 vendors per week. We get about 24K visits per year. 90% of the goods sold at our market are locally grown (within 100 miles). Within the past year, we have started a farmers market committee, which has five farmers, one baker, and one crafter. We have a structure that was built in 1954, and we just celebrated our 70th Anniversary. We are the oldest farmers market in SC, operating in one place. We are also looking to begin an evening market once per week.
Aiken County Farmers Market offers fresh, local produce and handcrafted goods in Camden, SC, supporting community health and small farmers.
