I sat with Oreo the cat for an hour she purred like a motor and fell asleep in my lap. If you come across her in your visit here, please give her all my love! I wish I could have stayed as her warm lap to sleep in forever. And her fur was as soft as a rabbit! Also I got a panini that was really good

Adorable local store that has great sandwiches, whatever forgotten vacation item you might need, and a surprisingly well-stocked wine and liquor store. Plus theres Oreo the shop cat! We very much enjoyed the homemade desserts as well. Definitely stop by if youre in the area!

Jay Country Store has everything you might need or want while visiting Jay’s Peak. The cafe sandwiches are amazing and the portions are perfect. The cookies were big, fresh, and delicious. Swing in to say hello to Oreo as a fun bonus!
