Good market today on a very hot day. Lovely sourdough breads from Johny Breads, a Long Island goat cheese, some fresh zucchini and fresh large scallops and Mahi from Catch of the Hamptons. Pricey, but all farmers market high quality. Will be back.
Nice variety of offerings, with even a booth offering items from Jordan, such as fresh spices, meat and spinach pies, and a produce vendor with an assortment of gorgeous greens. A must is the bakery booth, with crispy breads and wonderful pastries, but get there early, as they sell out quickly!
Its small but lovely. Get there early for fresh baked muffins, make sure you buy labne and spices, and the fish is super fresh.
Saturday morning all of Port Washington visits the organic farmers market. Very orderly and sanitary, wear a smile under your mask and wait for fresh food!
