I love going on thursdays to buy whatever produce is on offer from global gardens, an org that supports chicago’s refugee community. They often have vegetables you can’t find elsewhere (esp not near lincoln square!) and the volunteers who run the stall are really kind.
This farmers market has a lot of vendors, some with similar products. One vendor has homemade breads with great English muffins and bagels, but be mindful of the shelf life. I will be back for the English muffins. It is a little expensive, but keep in mind that these are local vendors with very fres
