I went to the Daley Plaza City Market to attend the Chi Food Truck Fest and it was great! This is the first time I ever visited the Farmers Market it was wonderful . This one lady was Amazing telling me about the different plants 🪴 she was patient , kind. Willingly telling me about each plant that I asked her about. Thank you for having a sweet spirit

Great place to hit up during your lunch on Thursdays (Thursdays only). Theres plenty of stalls with everything from fresh produce to soaps and pies. I highly recommend Gayles grilled cheese but theres sushi, pastries, and Thai too! On a nice day you may not find a table to sit at but the fountain

I gather this is the oldest continuing farmers market in Chicago and its still one of the best. A wide variety of vendors sell a wide variety of great stuff. Its a real godsend to folks who work downtown. Special mention goes to the fresh fruit smoothie stand, its the real deal.
