In August 2025, we visited the Hugos Lake of the Woods Foods in Baudette, Minnesota. This is a grocery store in Northern Minnesota, near the Canadian border, and on the Southern edge of the Lake of the Woods. The walls of this grocery store have murals of the surrounding outdoor Minnesota scenery

Surprisingly good store for a small town. Nice to see some additional choices of bread. The staff is VERY friendly. Love the 20¢ off gas coupon you get when buying $35 worth of groceries (requires the use of a Shell Fuel Rewards card, which is free) Love the new flooring they put in. Im in here at
